A First glimpse - An Evening At…

A garden oasis, a rustic wooden interior and a unique urban setting, many of you may know House of Small Wonder as the bustling breakfast and brunch joint. But, open your mind now to a chick casual evening involving signature cocktails, tapas style plates and set dinner mains all inspired by a mix of Japanese flavours and New York style dining. What was our favourite part, you may ask?

Having launched their three-night-a-week dinner menu only one month ago, we had a chance to be one of the first to dip our fingers into this experience. With an already Insta-famous staircase that has resulted in a permanent image implanted into people’s minds, what else does HOSW bring to the Berlin food scene?

Very similar to their breakfast/brunch menu, there is a strong New York style as well as textures and flavours from the Japanese cuisine. Unique to the night dining is the set up of the menu. Having two options - a Set Dinner Menu and a 3 Snack/Drink Menu - means the focused is placed on the food and beverages rather than the endless decision making that is often involved in dining. This relieves a lot of the pressure and leaves customers to enjoy rather than decide. 

With a playful design as well as a casual but chick atmosphere, this setting offers a perfect end of week dinner spot that could lead you into your weekend. Included in each menu is one cocktail, so really HOSW helps you on your way to an enjoyable night! 

So our favourite part… Um, their dessert! So enjoy the snacks and mains, but make sure to leave room for the final sensually seductive experience…
