Salty Sweet Citrus Gin Spritz
A cocktail made for keeping us fit and healthy while treating us to a little mid or end of week drink (maybe even the start too?). Top up on vitamin C and your citrus intake for the day through this refreshing burst of flavour whilst having a sneaky one while your at it.
Who would have thought a cocktail could not only be relaxing and refreshing but one to boost your vitamins as well! Grab this recipe for the end of winter top up or a cooling summer time glass because we all love a good citrus moment and who doesn’t have a few splashes of gin lying around…
When it comes to gin, actually any spirit for cocktails, it’s important to use quality and local companies. Quality because it will always be reflected and tasted in the cocktail. It is important to pay attention to the process of every spirit you buy as this does rub off into it’s palatable flavour. I always like to buy and thus support local companies because their product is often the most family based and quality focused. Supporting small business allows the spirit economy to keep producing and excelling. My favourite neutral gin is Kyro Distillery based in Finland. They have a well rounded flavour as well as their products are beautiful to have on show. Check out their spirit products here.
Hope you all enjoy this fresh cocktail adaptation because I certainly drunk both of these post shooting while my boyfriend was asleep ;). Don’t forget to tag or leave a comment on my Instagram (@cecilevadas) if you enjoy this one or have any suggestions/other commentary. I always love hearing from you.
